Used 2 full-hook up pull-through sites for 36′ and 30′ travel trailers. The sites are on concrete and the only leveling required was from the front hitch (front to back). The picnic tables are a touch small and anchored to the ground – we had 8 people trying to sit and that .
We used the showers which were clean, but the women’s side had only luke warm water. The swimming beach did have about a dozen dead, rotting fish. Camp hosts were friendly. This park is very well maintained and we would stay again. Sites all fairly close to lake. Can be windy at times but that is South Dakota. Price does not include state park admission fee. Nice grounds – everything very well kept up. The whole place looks new but it is several years old and very well maintained.
No sewer or water on sites but there are four sewer dumps, water and a fish cleaning station in a large paved parking lot.

We thought the cinder blocks used as site identifiers were dangerous; it would be easy to trip and fall. Right next to Canyon Lake Park, a great place to walk the dog. This is an older family owned park coupled with cabins for rental also. We had a pull through and after we pulled in there was a telephone pole so close I could only extend my awning a short distance. The spacing was very close although there were a couple sights with good spacing.
